Pain on the Plains (POTP) was started in July of 2006 to give people the chance to see Nationally respected presenters locally in a setting without fear of getting lost in the crowd of a larger event. We have tried to keep it very intimate and friendly to encourage those interested but afraid to attend a larger more impersonal event. We are very open for those that would like to come and just want to watch to see what it is about as well as those wanting to play. We continue to try to make it a friendly atmosphere for newcomers as well as encouraging experienced player to come and participate in a friendly and open atmosphere.

The Midwest Alternatives Board of Trustee has worked hard this year. Our demos and play parties enabled us to raise enough money to support the cost of bringing in a gifted National Presenter and help lower the cost of this special event. Thanks to .. "you" .. our friends in the local community we are once again able to bring in a very special and talented National presenter.
